Well yes, that's why there's area triggers, so you don't have to get messed up, and that's why I said you don't actually SEE the other mario when you read a sign, which is why I suggested making it spawn afterward. Try to use my logic :P

I like the ideas here a lot, but I have another idea for another planet in this galaxy. What if we put boo mushroom in here and then you can pass through mirrors and get to new parts on the planet?

That may not be a bad idea at all. I could see it working in a maze. What could be done is too have passable, transparet glass and non-passable mirrors. That would be an epic maze.

I forget the name of the level but the first part of the fourth world in Wario World has amirror showing you hidden objects like enemies. I don't recall a Wario clone ever being involved so it might be possible to just create s Mario reflection instead of using a clone.

Well if you'd actually read the thread you'd know I said that yes, in theory, but it would need material importing, which may never be possible by the end of the project.

I just remembered that ice produces reflections of Mario. They are not sharp, but the reflections would work on black mirrors. So yes in theory we can do that but the texture already exists on ice. Plus, black mirros would have a maze-like feeling when used in sections.

Not all the time, there's ice collision with reflection, and without. But yes, if you wanted to do so, you could use it.

Can we edit ice to make clear images? And show objects invisible in the real world? The 2nd Mario would need to do opposite of Real mario without ice.us

We don't need ice, just the reflectioning XD. I think the clone part would use collisionless objects (that have to be avoided) rather than invisible objects with collisions.

What if we made a mirror maze where you can see the launch star in a window(you need a boo mushroom to go through the window). However, the window is protected by these spotlights which turn boo mario into normal mario. In the maze, you have to find a switch to deactivate the spotlights and then you need to find a boo mushroom to get to the launch star

I know boo mario sounds weird, but having it in a mirror maze where it can pass through windows, but not through mirrors can have a nice effect on the maze i think.

The new Double Cherry power-up in Super Mario 3D World captures Mirror Madness Galaxy's concept. If I am correct, Streetie has the mirror gimmick on Planet 2 of his design.

There is a way to activate and deactivate the gimmick, right? The activation and deactivation switch will have to be paired when landing on a planet and a leaving a planet respectively. In addition to having two identical paths, why not have both Marios on a single path at one point? As long as there are no constrictive objects such as a single object in only one part of the area, there should not be any bugs. So if there is a table on the left, there should also be a table on the right.

It is pretty much combining the two identical paths into one path that has the same details on the left and right side.

I just thought I'd bring this up after receiving some influence from SM3DW and thinking about the possibility of a single mirrors path.
