We should have a File Depot like the NSMBW File Depot except for SMG and SMG2 on this site once Whitehole is first released and usable. |

I'll be setting up a categorized uploader like what NSMBHD has. Later on it might be specialized into a level depot or something... ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

Some objects on the objectdb dont have any objargs, yet it cant be green unless it has at least one objarg. This needs to be removed, as I said, some objects like "PhantomBonfire" don't have any obj_args |

PhantomBonfire does have Obj_args. Either they're unknown or they're just leftovers that do nothing.
Also I'm not removing that condition on the green color. I had to implement it because it was the only way to prevent certain people from marking objects green without having documented their Obj_args. I had implemented a warning before, but those people don't fucking read, so it's been useless. I really hate to feel like a dictator, but the known/complete checkboxes are meant to provide a view on the global progress, and I want that view to be accurate. I don't want to have to go through 3000+ objects because some people marked objects Complete without having fully documented them. I don't give a flying fuck about how long it'll take to complete the ObjectDB, I just want it to be done right. ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

So what are we going to do? Leave an object uncomplete because theres some little floating obj_arg out there that it has that probably does nothing? |

Also, let me point out that if an obj_arg is used, it's pretty sure it HAS a purpose. Even if it's not visible when testing. So yeah, like Arisotura said, it's better to mark it as an "unknown" Obj Arg than not mark it at all. AND if you mark objects that way, don't mark them GREEN. Mark them ORANGE. It's better not to mark args as "does nothing" unless you're REALLY sure.
Same things happen with NSMB sprite data. Most of the stuff is used, but some is really hard to figure out ____________________ Cool Stuff: Dirbaio.net (my boring site) - The NSMB Hacking Domain - Kuribo64 - ABXD DevBoard |

Embodiment of Time Can someone lead me to a non-capitalist clothing store? Level: 128 Posts: 214/5087 EXP: 24340140 Next: 41560 Since: 07-07-12 Last post: 2395 days ago Last view: 957 days ago |
Sorry if this is bumping, but...
What if we had "Send to Super Mario Galaxy 2.5 Staff" and "Send to Kuribo64 Staff" options when sending private messages? ____________________

While the idea of a staff alias for PMs sounds good, separating staffs would only add overcomplication. We are one big community now
Also, if I implement this, I'll make sure to rework the way multi-recipient PMs are handled. It's a huge hack, and no indication is given as to how to do it, or that you can do it at all. (fyi: separate usernames with semicolons. It also recognizes display names, btw) ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

Why dont you let us chose our jobs/color for names. I think everyone identifying themselves is better and more reliable than a job. For example, if i want to be a programmer, but i dont know much about it, i can still be one and help out with the little things. IDK, just an idea. |

People get a custom title when they have 100 posts or more (or other requirements, can't remember).
As for custom usernames color, those will stay reserved to staff. I don't want to have normal users using the admin colors and causing confusion. ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

^ Yeah, it's 100 posts for a custom title. But isn't the default amount on other ABXD boards 200? ____________________
