Well Sunken Satellite galaxy is one of my least favorite ideas, and I have a better idea to replace it. This galaxy will be a water galaxy (and focus on underwater exploration), but it will be half- underwater exploration, and half - above water exploration.
So the galaxy is essentially a large, water planet similar in vein to Cosmic Cove, but it is much more open and you can swim pretty much anywhere on the planet. The primary focus of the galaxy is going to be a ruined castle that disappeared over time. Not Peach's, but more of a medieval castle. Like a traditional one. Star 1 will focus on Mario exploring the castle primarily underwater. A koopa shell can bust into the opening of the castle. Mario must swim through the castle avoiding water enemies on a very peaceful level, to reach the star. When Mario returns for Star 2, the water is gone, and the castle is back to its former glory. Canonballs are firing everywhere, and the music changes to become more of an epic march rather than a peaceful underwater theme. This level will once again have you go through the castle, but you must go through new areas too. (which include the dungeons). This concept might seem vague, but it could be one of the coolest galaxies we have created ever if done right. Also, Star 1's music is really peaceful and ambient, like the pipe theme from SMG1. Star 2 will have a very much epic remix of star 1's theme. ____________________

Embodiment of Time Can someone lead me to a non-capitalist clothing store? Level: 130 Posts: 3611/5087 EXP: 25403300 Next: 327277 Since: 07-07-12 Last post: 2796 days ago Last view: 1359 days ago |
We should keep Sunken Satellite. It's a unique and interesting concept which we can do more with than a Submerged Castle (Pikmin 2 reference, yay) ____________________

But why a satellite? Idk, having a satellite underwater is just not very exciting to me. If it was a sunken space station, that would be much cooler. ____________________

It fell.
How does a ruined castle get submerged. Also, what can you do in a space station that you can't do in a giant satellite? ![]() ____________________

For some reason I thought satellites were non-manned...
And the castle planet can be simply overflowed with water. Simple as that. ____________________

I agree with Polari, we already have far too many castle/indoor areas already. We don't need yet another castle/tower. |

I like the idea of swimming through an interior setting like a big building, but not to replace Sunken Satellite. ____________________

Meh... maybe you are right, but I still like the idea of having a relaxing, exploration star 1 and having star 2 have no water. ____________________

I actually also don't like the sunken satellite, but it is a good idea(just not my kind of galaxy). So it should be kept. However, I do like the submerged castle a lot(more than the satellite). IMO it has more possibilities, but to replace sunken satellite is just impossible because it has more progress. Maybe if someone made a full design, which shows more than sunken satellite it will be possible. |
