Its been a while.. huh?
Im sure lots of you will be disappointed about SMG64, but trust me, this will make up for it...Hopefully. Judging by the title you already know, this thread is about ME(and others), hacking SSBM. The result: One of the best Super Smash Bros Melee mod. Me? Oh, I was hacking, learning, scripting my way through GameCube land. Toying with some of the textures with characters, im able to create brand new characters. Melee is extremely difficult, that is why I chose this, instead of Brawl. Im hoping I can edit move sets to create some sweet stuff, but for now, I only got 2 brand new characters for you. Rosalina (From Mario Galaxy): Rosalina is one of the many planned female characters.. Her move set will be based of Zelda, and Peach. Her move set will most likely be like this.. B+^= Space Manipulation: Rosalina will disappear, then reappear on the platform. B+= Falling Stars: Rosalina will disappear, then reappear on the ground, with a small explosion. Analog Stick > and <= High Velocity arm swing: Rosalina will swing her arms, inflicting damage on the targeted player. Analog Stick ^= Headbutt: Rosalina will crouch, then do a headbutt upwards. These are some of the planned moves for Rosalina. This game will have a separate DS counter part. The DS version will have exclusive characters, along with the ISO version. Suggest possible names for this hack ISO. Nope not hacking.
Coding and Scripting a DS hack ROM. Nothing to it. Thanks to the advance of modern technology, were getting closer to editing models, move sets are not a problem. |

As for now, since my last post, Rosalina has joined the brawl! Also, while I was at it, I updated Peach's texture, to HD. You will see a major difference between her, and other players. Also added a Hyrulian Knight! His move set is combined with Link, and Marth! Pokemon Trainer is planned, however creating 4 new models would be a HUGE pain. Il K.I.T. ~UPDATE~ This is the one Ive been holding back, a little. This is a Nintendo game, how ever, do you guys want to see characters NOT from Nintendo in this game? I dont want to make this into another SSBB+, but Im flexible with adding characters. |

This is going to be BRIEF and to the point. Batman is a planned character. He will be a mix of Sheik, and Captain Falcon. I personally, already have him done, im wondering if I should keep him in the game. Boom. |

Progress has suddenly, came to a HALT. Currently trying to find a team good with editing/creating models/textures. Also, im thinking a name for it. Super Smash Brothers Crash? I dont know, time for some Q+A. Q:
A: Too many character requests. Reggie will obviously, not make it in the game. However, Satoru is coming closer to reality. Making a tribute, like that, might be too much. If he is, in the game, then he will only be unlocked after the following 1. Beat Classic Mode 1 time, on Easy, 30, on Medium, 80, on Hard, 100, on Very Hard. 2. Play against CPU'S at least 100 times 3. Unlock all the other characters Thats it. Q:
A: Already answered this, if I can save as much time as possible by combining move sets, I will do it, but I will apply quality gold if I see needed. Thats it. DS Progress is actually, believe it or not, going AMAZING! I already got the sprites animated, and added. Some planned features. Rosalina= Console only Batman= Console only Pokemon Trainer= DS only Shadow= DS Only So.. yea... progress is going.. NOTE: NEED A TEAM > : ( |
