That's just...amazing. Great model as always!
Well, there wouldn't need to be too much furniture, just maybe a few tables to one side, because any fancy furniture is just...going to be able to be jumped on, which would be rather weird/awkward.

Pretty fucking awesome job on the Castle, Glem. But I really think maybe we should use rooms in the 2 doors and have paintings as throwbacks to SM64. In addition, maybe we could hide a 1-up in each room.

Thing is, the SMG games don't have doors you can walk through like SM64 did, so we'd have to remove the doors to do that. And removing the doors would be ugly :P

Hmm, yeah, it'd probably be best to make it just a large open space, as indoor doesn't really work in SMG.
No small rooms.

Hmmm a very short section of Mushroom suburbs leading into toad town would be neat.


Bianco Hills is a great inspiration for the plains section. I do think we shoukd allow the player to fool around in mushroom suburbs. The suburbs would have to be small and the buildings spread out farther apart to not "overdo" the intro.

Also interesting yet simple platforming would be nice to have in addition to the suburbs.

This Intro looks great! Feels a little bit like Paper Mario with Mario's House and walking through all the rooms of Peach's Castle, but this looks like a great Intro.

I love those pictures within the house, especially the photo that was taken at the end of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Speaking of which, would it actually be possible to import a model of Luigi's house? I'm not sure how far along you are on development of the intro, but I think that visiting Luigi at his D Rank house from the original Luigi's Mansion for a basic tutorial would be a nice touch, but also optional. If you can't import a model of the house, I'd suggest just having a warp pipe pushed off to the side that leads to a secluded section of the forest. Luigi would be resting here, and you can then wake him from his nap and start the tutorial. He'd give you some advice about basic platforming, wall jumps, etc. I suppose that the Toad Town Suburbs could be where you put this advice to use, with a few hidden goodies (star bits, 1-ups) located on rooftops or backyards.

Well I don't think any of us have hacked Luigi's Mansion yet, so idk. Ask Mrrean. But we could copy Mario's house and make it Luigi's. Of coarse this would not be a priority. We have many... more important... things to do. But not a bad idea!

We don't need to have hacked it, there is no model, and we'd have to recreate it anyways since it's a gamecube game and thus low poly, more so since it's so unimportant to the game, only seen at the very end.
As it is that would be a cool idea though

Actually NWPlayer, I was referring to the D Rank mansion seen in the opening and closing cutscenes of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Though, I doubt it's possible to rip models from a 3DS game. Of course, we could always just use a retexture/recolor of Mario's house.

Oh, yeah, that's even less accessible. Still, the prologue isn't set in stone, and the more ideas the better. I personally don't have a preference on anything I'd want to see in the prologue
