The Xbox One cones out the end of year so Microsoft has little time to improve on it. If they do, they should at least remove the being from playing games although that legal.

Its all about marketing.
Microsofts presentations were bad and so were their decisions. In the other hand, Sony did some smart thinking. Showing the console late, doing advertizing showing off the console's capabilities and Sony's presentations, although being really bad too, managed to catch cusomer's attention more. Thing is, Sony grabs to Microsoft's flaws and make them worse in a way. Microsoft cannot defend itself since they already made the mistakes, and now all they have to defend theirselves with is twitter, which isnt the best way to reach the world. For example, if you didnt watch the vid i posted some posts ago, it basically said that the ps4 will also have flaws, like making people pay for online, letting developers not let people sell or share games and more. People just seem to not know these problems, or ignore them, or basically say it is ok, while they critisize the Xbox One for doing the same things as the PS4. Sony takes advantage of people hating on Microsoft and advertises their product even more. So now, here are people complaining, and while they do have the right to hate on Microsoft, they shouldnt be upholding Sony. |

Hmm... Now it actually doesn't sound as bad as before. If Sony for some reason prices up their online cost (no fucking way am I paying more than 5 dollars a month, and even that's almost too much for me) I MIGHT just buy this....
Nah. In that case I'll just stick with the old PS3 and the Wii U. Fuck the other consoles (Or I might just get a Gaming PC instead).
buut anyway I feel like Nintendo is the only really honest game company out there. I mean Nintendo has free internet, easy and great to use online, NO CONSTANT UPDATING THAT SOMETIMES BRICKS THE CONSOLE (Screw you Sony for bricking my PS3 with your crap update!), great selection of retro games, always has easy backwards compatibility and more such stuff on their later consoles (specifically the Wii, 3DS and Wii U. The other consoles didn't have it but were still far more user friendly than the PS1, PS2 and first Xbox). It's a shame really. All that Sony and Microsoft's consoles do better than Nintendo's is general power (graphics, GPU, Storage and such). Sure I'm not saying Graphics and power of a console don't matter (they matter alot), but other than that Nintendo's consoles are way more easy to use (but almost just as effective as the others), do not require constant updates, have a free reliable internet (even though its worse than the other consoles then SO WHAT? If you wanna surf the web then just do it on a PC or tablet  ).
and now Yes I am fully aware of the fact that at the beginning, Wii U consoles could get bricked and had some updates, but that's only at the beginning. Sony's consoles STILL constantly update (but don't really improve. Only about 10% of all the updates actually make a big difference) and sometimes still Brick. Same goes for Microsoft. You'll never find something like the Red Ring of Death on a Nintendo console

Posted by Degolegodyl Finally they changes it. You see? They were able to manage changing the console between now and the console's release late this year. The "Always online" crap has been changed for at least dowloaded games. Both the Xbox One and the PS4 are not be backwards compatible. Tell me the name of one person that doesnt own a wii (unlikely) and would rather play a wii game that they own (extremely unlikely) on their wii u (super extremely unlikely). Now move that fact to PS4 and Xbox One. Wii games are at least worth to be played, but many of the games for Sony and Microsoft are very dependant with multiplayer (hard to do with backwards compatibility). Besides, many of the ps3 and 360 games arent good enough to be replayed on another console. Only game i can come up with is uncharted series. Not mentioning that many of the games on these consoles can be replaced with games with better graphics and done. In the other hand, nintendo games take another aproach, not really improving graphics. Nintendo needs backwards compatibility because their fanbase will play old games. But sony and microsoft fans wont really play old games. Another thing: the wii is super easy to emulate, getting good fps. But ps3 and 360 are hard to emulate and you'd get little fps if you were to emulate them. Why is there only a wii emulator out there, huh? |

Yeah, like my first console was a PS1, and then we sold it at a garage sale to get a PS2. I personally am curious to see how the Xbox One will do, seeing as today(?) they announced that they were removing either the used games thing, the DRM, or both, IDR which, but they still haven't changed the price xD I don't see them going anywhere soon. ____________________ "I hate playing musical chats" ~ Quote of the month |
