Could the field be changed so you can type any number into the door type box.
I am trying to see if the Unused 5-star door, can be spawned in game.

I don't think so.

I don't remember well but any door types other than what's in the list make the game crash I think.

Anyway from what I remember, there's no object for the 5-star door, only graphics.

Is there some sort of table pointing to each object's behavior and model ID? With this, I could alter just about anything.
Also, I want to suggest a sticky help thread to avoid clogging the forum with help threads.

I don't think so, SM64DS is quite different from SM64. Each object has a class that handles both its behavior and its rendering.

Doors aren't in the SM64DS object DB. Only 'regular' objects are there.

The available door types are what's listed in the editor. IIRC anything else crashes.
