The new Mario Kart for Wii U is coming in Spring 2014! It may not be Double Dash 2, but it has gravity and bikes! It looks really awesome.

Yes, the official title is Mario Kart 8!

An updated version of his "sorta cart" would be cool. Man, the Coke lava and Mentos stalactites would be a cool feature to use in Mario Kart 8.

Ninja'd-Polari: Who knows? Maybe Wrech-It Ralph will be an exception.

Also that sugar level could be Donut Plains (That would be awesome!)

Mario Kart 8 will have obviously have retro tracks. I think Dry Dry Desert is already confirmed. The addition of gravity looks really awesome and makes it similar to Sonic Lost World. Can't wait to play Mario Kart 8 at Best Buy!

I'm glad Nintendo made the retro courses look awesome instead of like they did on MKWii. Some of the retro courses just look pixelated in MKWii. (GBA Shy Guy Beach comes to mind)

Love how after you finish an online race, the game creates a 30-second (?) replay of certain parts of the race, and love the ability how you can record your own game play.

They called it Mario Kart 8 because it's the 8th installment in the series :P

I think they also chose it because of how the Number 8 represents "two sides" somewhat, representing the new gravity gimmmick.

and also Wreck it Ralph should definitely be in the game! I mean he's already been in Sonic's world racing so he can now do it in Mario's World too. (and just like before, Nintendo's parnership with SEGA and the fact that Disney Infinity will be on Wii U highly ups this chance) ;)
