It isn't X/Y/Z. The theme of Pokémon X and Y Versions are genetics, and X and Y refer to chromosomes. It doesn't have anything with axis - I find it strange, because you know - it's 3DS, with 3D.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Pokémon X2 and Pokémon Y2 would be released later. Two games > One game. Because Pokémon "PRINTS MONEY".

So apparently, the normal electric lizard is Helioptile, the goat remains Gogoat, the fighting panda is Pancham, and the bird is Fletchling.

Personally, I like Gogoat's design the most, and Helioptile's name the most.

Anyway I really like Pancham. It's just so badass and yet so adorable :3

And Gogoat is nice too.

And also I've noticed that the new moves revealed sound incredibly OP, as they are buffed versions of previous moves (and PRE EVOLVED/pokemon with no evolutions can learn them!)

Think about it:
Parabolic Charge sounds just like Horn Leech/Giga Drain, but it hits all the pokemon on the field (like Lava Plume).

Parting Shot is just like Giga Drain/Volt Switch, but it also LOWERS STATS (However it's possible that that the move itself doesn't inflict damage, and if so then it isn't that op)

A bit early for boxart, I would say? And yes, some of these abilities donsound overpowered, but it is possible there will be new and moderate abilities revealed in the future.
