It's everything. If you save a file in anarchy and replace it in ObjectData with the folder you use for Whitehole, it doesn't even open it in whitehole. ____________________ a |

Also, if I unpack and then repack a Nintendo map file, Whitehole crashes when loading it. |

Posted by Luigi If you use Anarchy and save a file, it doesn't use the yaz0 compression it needs, and Whitehole doesn't have very good exception handling for that so it only reads Nintendo's files, which are yaz0 compressed. So of course it wouldn't load in whitehole. ____________________ "I hate playing musical chats" ~ Quote of the month |

Nope. Whitehole doesn't recompress files when saving either, and it reads those uncompressed files fine.
The issue is probably somewhere else. Again, I don't have Anarchy, and don't quite feel like hunting for a download link atm, so if someone would kindly give me one or two files that were edited with Anarchy, it'd be cool. ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

Can't help you with any Anarchy edited files, but this is the extracted and repacked file that crashed Whitehole. |

Thanks. Going to look into it.
Edit- seems to be due to the way the RARC was repacked. Whitehole seems to fail to parse the directory tree properly... Edit2- the RARC packer is faulty. The root directory is named 'redblueexgalaxymap' instead of 'stage' as Whitehole expects. Seems that SMG doesn't care about the RARC's root folder name at all. Next release of Whitehole will fix this issue. In the meantime, I could give you the current WiiExplorer build. It supports renaming folders, so you could use it to rename the RARC's root folder. ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

Posted by Mega-Mario How do you plan to release the source? GitHub? Would love to peak at it and see how it mounts ISOs. |

Posted by Mega-Mario Then it's sort of my fault. The extractor actually extracts to a directory named 'Stage', which I then renamed. But yeah, SMG doesn't seem to care about the root folder name. |

Posted by Shane2100AD Yep, Github. I'll do it when the code is ready... or well, heck, why not now? (well, 'now' meaning when I'm back home ) Posted by blank Yep, that's what I figured when I remembered the filepaths I've seen in SMG's code, too. Next version of Whitehole will ignore root directory names too. ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

Posted by Mega-Mario Awesome! GitHub is the best place to host repos. Best of yet, I'm pretty sure it uses a custom version of Twitter Bootstrap, that awesome CSS and web framework. (+ it's open source). I recognize the UI. [wiiExplorerSource release]; <--- Obj-C |

For some reason, nothing happens when I press the Open Galaxy button. I have a full ISO and a Mac like Polari. Java RE7u10. Status: It was really, really fun, guys - thanks for the ride!

No, all of the galaxies appear when I select the folder, just nothing happens when I click on them and the editor doesn't open. I think it might be related to the recent Java update I accepted. Status: It was really, really fun, guys - thanks for the ride!

No.
It either means that the ISO you have is corrupted, or you didn't do it right (Which is why I said, check to make sure that the files aren't all 0 KB) ____________________ a |
