I'm hoping its Super Mario 64 2, or a complete "reboot" of the series. Though I enjoyed Galaxy, Mario 64 is the best 3D Mario game there is.
This is mainly because of the game being non-linear and having the ability to explore worlds at your own pace, and the ability to get other stars in different missions. (a la getting the Chain Chomp guarded star in the first star in Bob-omb Battle Field.) |

I'd like a Super Mario Sunshine 2 or a brand new idea (which won't suck).

Well... If you think about it, it went like this:
1. 64 2. Sunshine 3. Galaxy I honestly don't see a pattern. But if you want something that comes after galaxy would be Universe, which would fit in perfectly with the U of the Wii U. You could also have Galaxy Clusters, Multiverse, and more. And yes, if it could be Time, which would be fun, since Mario could visit different times in the past and future. If it was Dimension, there could be different visual effects, different gravities, and maybe Mario could visit his own EVIL replica in the other dimension where Bowser is the good guy... |

I just want a brand-new original idea that isn't made solely to cater to people who played SMB3. I want a new, open-world platformer like 3D Land but without the level-based gameplay. Like, an open-world 3D Land. Status: It was really, really fun, guys - thanks for the ride!

Posted by mariogalaxythree The Wii U is pretty powerful, so it should able to handle an open world; that was the main problem with the GameCube. It didn't have enough juice to handle the complexity of an open world. I'm also hoping for an open world or a reboot of Mario 64. |

I hope 3D Super Mario Wii U will be open-world, non-linear. It should be "new" as in graphics, gameplay, and possibly a level editor by Nintendo themselves included. Yes, I know you want Nintendo's official level editor. After all, NSMBU has a Coin Level editor although I haven't used it yet. Yes, I have SM3DL, MK7, NSMB2, and NSMBU.
On a side note, here are my predictions for the Main Mario Series: 3DS: Super Mario 3D Land (2011) New Super Mario Bros. 2 (2012) Super Mario Sunshine 2 (2016-2018) Wii U: New Super Mario Bros.
