I'll always remember dearly my times at these forums (Jul, NSMHD, K64, other ACML boards...)

Sad that mostly forums have been replaced by Discord.

I tried setting up one for SMK hacking, but uh, was overall quicker to communicate on Discord

Hey Arisotura! It's been some time indeed haha. I suppose I've been lurking around but then I saw it was over a year since I like posted so decided to change that haha.

Nice to see people still sticking around! How are you doing? For me I suppose "grown up" life haha; busy with work and other responsibilities you get eventually ?
Though I always appreciate some time seeing the forums and doing ROM Hacking stuff. Turns out there is still a niche and people are somewhat interested. (There's this thing called F3 which showcases fangames/rom hacks/mods and was suprised that people still cared haha)

It does, but I don't think it's a perfect replacement for forum. I think it generally beats out IRC, although IRC is smaller scale and probably isn't subject to the whims of updates and crap like Discord is.

Agreed. I mostly use it for quicker communication, but looking at past messages is cumbersome. Though this is a bit alleviated by the search function if you remember the exact message to jump to it ?
