There's a rich history of western IPs that defined video games. Bioshock is one, but there's DOOM, Starcraft, Diablo, Tomb Raider, Goldeneye (licensing though lmao), Half-Life, Warcraft, Crash Bandicoot, Rayman, Sims, and so much more. It'll be a real shame if Smash Bros.'s "Nintendo All Stars + Nintendo stuff + celebration of gaming" direction it's going for leaves out really big titles in gaming. Probably a lot of good music too. I'd definitely Smash Bros. to the Terran music if it was available and was loud enough. |

haha, there was this wee second hand games shop in a town near me that opened maybe 3 or 4 years ago, and then closed like a month later, it was class, the lad who ran it would literally sit and play San Andreas on a PS2 until you came to buy something. I was hoaking through the original Xbox games because I love that machine, and it was old sports games and stuff, nothing special, and then right at the back Halo 2. It was £2, so obviously I bought it, and I have literally never played the campaign, but it's the go to multiplayer game in my house. I have a duke controller, and a smaller one, so if anyones in my house, like my cousins or my friends, it's HALO tiem. What a game.
If I had to chose any western characters for Smash, it'd be this: -Booker & Elizabeth (Bioshock Infinite) -JC Denton (Deus Ex) or alternatively Adam Jensen (Deus Ex: Human Revolution) -Gordon (Half-Life) with Alyx (Half-Life 2) as an echo fighter. -Ratchet & Clank (from Ratchet & Clank lol) -Doomslayer (DOOM 2016) -Corvo (Dishonored) with Daud as an echo fighter. -Sam (Splinter Cell). Just please don't make trailers of them hurting Mario. I wish there was subversion instead. It looks like they're going to hurt him, but they just offer a helping hand. Something like that.
