On December 5, 2010, at 3:43 Eastern Time, Glem3 registered his account on Super Mario Galaxy 2.5's Proboards Forum. As I post this, it has been exactly 2.5 years since SMG2.5 was begun. Let's take a look back at what has been accomplished:

- Finalized galaxy names, themes, and order
- Some work on powerups that apparently has yet to be disclosed ;)
- Custom music can be imported to SMG2.5, which will have an all-new soundtrack
- Entirely new models and textures can be imported into the game, allowing for completely new galaxies
- Designs for several galaxies have been finalized, along with concept art
- Modeling and texturing is underway for several different galaxies

Let's see what we can accomplish by the time the 3-year mark comes around this December!

I joined in March of the first year, and it's amazing that we once were making "Galaxy XXX Extra Stars" and now we are making our own galaxies. And thinking once that Super Mario Sunshine models would never be imported, but now SMS importing was succeeded and is a thing of the past.
