Well..Yes, and half of the faces were inverted. It's probably the plugin itself because my model works without any problems when importing it to Super Mario 64. I'd like a video of this process so I can analyze what I did wrong (I'm more of a visual learner, you see) ![]() |

Okay so I did all of this with a Mario Galaxy 2 iso, but since I no longer have the disc I had to use WIT to build a new iso with my added file. So I dumped all of the the game using "wit extract", replaced my files in the folders, and rebuilt it. The game itself works flawlessly, but my custom object which worked fine in whitehole, is nowhere to be found. The gravity that I added to the level works, resulting in me being caught in an infinite fall in the middle of the air... did I need to add something to the Resource file in the level folder? |

Yesh, try adding it to the useresource. Use the others for an example. I had to look that up because I'm so out of touch with importing xD I've been caught up with other things. ____________________ "I hate playing musical chats" ~ Quote of the month |

Well I added it and it still doesn't work. Not really sure what other people have been doing...
Edit: Also when I check with wiiscrubber my file is in the new iso... and it is listed in the resources |

Oh lol tip for everyone, don't close sketchup or python to early like I did, it will end up having a corrupted obj file (and causing whitehole to freeze ![]() Though, anyone who knows why my little easter egg is upside down?? ![]() (reduced that image for ya-- Arisotura) |

Oh, for some reason, the importing process flips textures, so you're going to have to manually flip them in photoshop or something vertically to make it align right. ____________________ "I hate playing musical chats" ~ Quote of the month |

Posted by NWPlayer123 Really? Then why the fuck haven't anybody told me? I would say that it is pretty obvious that that's not the intended behaviour. |

Well it only does it sometimes, I never have a problem, but Glem sometimes does, I don't really know what makes it happen, you're the one who made the program, you should know what goes on better than me ![]() ____________________ "I hate playing musical chats" ~ Quote of the month |

Yeah well it only happens if you use a texture wich isn't your normal patern texture, just with texture's (like the bob omb painting) that won't do good if they are flipped or reversed. |

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could please help me. I am trying to convert an object file of M. Bison so I can play as him instead of Mario, but after several attempts with obj2bdl-v0.3, here is what it said:
C:\Python33>python.exe obj2bdl.py M.BISON.obj material mesh0110mat has no diffuse texture map, skipping material mesh0124mat has no diffuse texture map, skipping material mesh0111mat has no diffuse texture map, skipping Traceback File "obj2bdl.py", line 140, in bb_min_x = min ValueError: min<> arg is an empty sequence I put the j3d folder, btypes.py, and obj2bdl.py in my python33 folder and I also put my M.BISON.obj, M.BISON.mtl, M.BISON.kcl, and M.BISON.pa there. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong and how to fix it? |

Faces on the model are left untextured.
Or it's because you didn't extract the program correctly. ____________________ a |

I fixed it. My textures were .jpegs not .pngs so I didn't work.
EDIT: The game isn't loading my level. It looks like this in whitehole ![]() So I hit save and copy the correct files over. I'm editing Yoshi Star so I copy 'YosshiHomeGalaxy'. I put them on my SD card in the correct folder, but it doesn't load. I've got it enabled on riivolution. |

Uhh...Tahcryon, XML's have nothing to do with crashing the game.
Tell me, how many polys was the model? ____________________ a |
