I think SSBB was overrated, I've seen it been talked about alot and I never really liked it that much.
I also think SMB:LL was underrated. sure, it was hard, and you have to get used to the game over screen, but it was still fun. people just bash it for being basically an easy kaizo. ____________________ |

(So underrated, people think it's about just cleaning up the mess, no it's fucking not, this half-assed adventure ended up being one of the most quirky and rewarding games I have ever played, it's my favorite video game ever made hands down, and future Mario games will have to beat a lot of things to top it. I really wish I could play a game like this again, but with announcements like Super Mario 3D World, I don't think my wish will ever be fulfilled.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enough said for me, I know a lot of people will not like what i'm posting right now, but it's just my opinion. |

Overrated: Doctor Who. It's a very fun show and I like it a lot, but it's also very silly and the fanbase often takes it waaaay too seriously. Even the show itself doesn't take itself particularly seriously!
Underrated: Super Paper Mario. It really is an amazing game even if, I'll concede, it's not REALLY a "paper" game. It still has the great characters and writing that the PM series is so good at producing. Overrated - Mario, period. I don't need to give explanations do I?
Underrated - The Metroid Series. They have a lot of great things with this, and I think they should do more. I mean, just look at the Prime series for example. Three games, but they told a story, and story that I think is way more out of this world than saving a princess. The adventuring and item pickup clash together to make the perfect 2d/3d shooter/adventure game. Come on guys, more Metroid titles need to be released! |

Overrated - Sonic CD. The layouts were horrendous. The special stages were tedious.

It was underrated at the time. It was panned by most of the fanbase at the time of its launch. It's on recently being acknowledged. |
