An idea I had a while ago that would be amazing if it were possible, which I now know it is, was bouncy snakeblocks. If they used KCL, which they do, we could change the collision to bouncy and make it a lot more fun.
What do you guys think? This could be used in a whole slew of things. We'd need to duplicate it to keep the originals, but it would be a nice challenge. I think it could even be used in Toxic Terror and such.

If we can give it musical sounds, it would be a NoteSnakeBlock! It could see that working in Rock 'n' Roll Galaxy. A Bouncy Snakeblock could also be in Solar Coaster Galaxy.

No, that would be a bit too far. It's amazing enough that we can edit the collision and have both versions at the same time as it is. You could use the notes that exist in-game though, which will probably used in Rock n' Roll no matter what.

Well of course, but we'd have to do that anyways, I remember Glem and I found a super shortcut with gravity when we were making Lava Lair back in the day, skipping a sizeable chunk. It's kinda unavoidable with the way some stuff is, you just gotta fix it.

I think Snake Blocks that you can skate on is a better idea.

Horizontal Bouncy Snakeblocks can be used tobgive Mario "automatic wall-jumps" like the Spring Mushroom. Where to use that, I have not about it yet.

Except I once suggested to Glem making planet navigation really easy by using bouncy drums or something like it to jump on one and it bounces you automatically to the next planet and he laughed at me. There's no fun or creativity in that. At least with the Spring Mushroom you were able to have a challenge through bad controls.

So, the Bouncy Smakeblocks odea won't be used at all? But there will icy ones will be in Flarefrost so those can be a replacement.

This still can be stored as an idea for future designs, it just won't be used in the current galaxies we are working on.
Who knows if it will be used or not. :P

Guys, there are SO many amazing ideas that aren't being taken into account here... some of them have been mentioned, skating on snake blocks would be REALLY fun (if they were fast enough), bouncy snake blocks... but what if you're not ON the snake block? What about fiery lava snake blocks that you need to avoid while platforming? Or, what about becoming ice mario and SKATING on a fiery snake block?

This is only fully possible in the first place with the BCSV table, if we can have normal and bouncy, we can have as many as you want within the object limit. Since each entry is an object we'd replace

Well I think Glem's idea overpowers the bouncy one. Not because he's the leader, but because I think it's just a better idea. Doesn't mean we can't have both, though.

I actually thought about Fiery Dnakeblocks days ago but decided not to post it because I thought it was too over the top. Yeah, I am that stupid :P.

But, U now see that using Fiery Snakeblocks is a great idea. Possibly for Gliding Inferno, eh?

Interesting. For the Bouncy Snakeblock, it would only work with one way gravity or it will be rigged (as Luigi fell in the muck when the gravity changed). The Icy Snakeblocks work just fine with any gravity.
