Mini-rant warning:

Little Mac does NOT suck! I was freakin pwning on For Glory!

n00bs QUIT *so many got-dang times* out of my awesomeness!

It was hysterical too! One guy, I beat SO MANY TIMES (while he used Shiek, Zero Suit Samus, Charizard, and Palutena), just went and switched to Little Mac for the last five rounds, only to LOSE EVERY TIME (if you can't use Little Mac, don't use him)! He also quit the last five seconds of the last round.

Why do I get a penalty every time someone else quits btw?

People just suck with Little Mac, then go spamming on forums that HE sucks!

Same, except I get hate mail on Miiverse.

This guy knows Little Mac's potential though.

Also, All Star Versus, first hover over your character, change color if you want to, then select character, back out of the character, then do the same for each stock.

Depends on how good the players are.

Most little macs I face sucks and I 2 stock them.

I simply grab them and throw them to the edge, edge guard with jump art, and they cant get back on.

If they counter, I just bluff Im going to hit them and they still fall. :P

I haven't seen good Little Mac.

Its easy.

You have no projectiles so you must approach me if you wanna do something.

If you run, I have speed art to catch you.

I know that I totally own with Little Mac, but I want to try something else... can anybody recommend a new character to side-main (and maybe a pro tip video for that character)?

Little Mac is still my best fighter, the only fighter I seem to be able to properly use (I suck with everyone else).

Its impossible to recommend a character to anyone else because of different play style.

But if you use Mac, I think you should give a try to Captain Falcon.

He is about getting close to the opponent and make things happens. And also has an aerial game.

Solve all your problems with Little Mac by playing Jigglypuff!

I main Mario. Not because I'm a blatantly obvious Mario fan, but because he's the guy I've stuck with since Smash 64 -after a lot of experimentation with Pikachu, Kirby, Yoshi and Link- so I'm really good with him at this point.

The only thing I don't like about Mario is that his specials aren't great. Fireball, Mario's only ranged attack is slow, easy to dodge and doesn't deal very much damage. Cape only works effectively with perfect timing (and if you spam it while anticipating an attack your opponent's gonna know what's up). F.L.U.D.D. is almost completely useless, only effective for edge guarding but you have to charge it a lot to get it anywhere. The Super Jump Punch is Mario's best special, great for recovery, but not ideal to use because it leaves you vulnerable for a long time.

I'm gonna side-main Mario.

I've figured out some really cheap edge gaurding tricks with him. :D

Edit: That F.L.U.D.D. video really advanced my game!

I suppose you should see this. Mario is really good if you know how to use him well

Would it be a good idea to buy Super Smash Bros for 3DS? I might have a chance to buy it in October but want to know if it's worth it.

It's essentially a smaller version of the Wii U game with its own set of stages, but the important thing is that being a handheld game you can play it anywhere and you don't have to sit by the TV.

Smash Run is clearly much better than the Wii U's Smash Tour, and that makes up for the lack of game modes. By the way, despite that, the content of this game is still very impressive considering it's a handheld game. Game play is nearly identical to Smash Wii U, the physics and controls are perfectly synchronized.

I actually play the 3DS version more often than the Wii U version. I would recommend. Just don't play with the 3D on. It's distracting.

1. you can charge up the fludd before hand, and it will be ready for use later.

2 if captain falcon uses a falcon punch, and your fludd already has water, you can blast him COMPLETELY OFF the stage easily.

Marios cape:
3. You can reverse arrows, charged samus shots and more. and i find it funny when you reverse a player off the ledge.

Marios FireBall:
Everything you said was correct except the dodge part. throwin at least 3 fireballs on stage gives your opponent no chance of doing any ground movements.

No he's right, Mario's specials suck and have since Melee. All of them are either weak or have barely any range so they're pretty much useless.

In the case of FLUDD though it's even worse; it deals no damage, takes forever to charge, and lasts for less than a second. And because Smash is a game about moving all the time, it's almost impossible to land it on someone and you're still not guaranteed to throw them off the stage.

If you want a FLUDD guide here's one.

I wish Marth was better D:

Yeah it is.

As MF64 said, I end up playing that one more than the wii u ver, because its easier to boot, and also, the online fares better than playing on wii u.
