Not sure where to ask this or if this is dead... really getting into galaxy hacking but the AST converter (the first one, second one crashes on load) doesn't loop properly if you enter anything other than zeroes for the loop point.

This is not dead and you must had made a mistake. Anthe's work has never failed no one.

I never accused him of making a mistake... But I was hoping for some help with the issue then? I still cannot get ast converter 2.0 to even start on my machine, and a loop point other that 0 00 000 for both start and end results in the wii freezing.

No offence. I've made mistakes before. I can't even download astConverter 2.0 :') And I can't find it on my Airload >.<
EDIT: logank93 is RIGHT! AstConverter 2.0 DOES crash upon load. I'll fix it soon.

Oh well I forgot I had to fix astConverter. I'll fix it today.
EDIT: Fixed it. Please look at the OP for a download.

Hey Anthe, I having the same problem with both astConverters. I open up the programs which is ok, and then I load the .MP3 song I want. The song loads successfully and then I click on the convert but after a while, it will say "astsharp has stopped working." I don't know if I also need the original astsharp program or what. Although the song is extended to 30 minutes long, could it be that the song is too long?

Yes, the song is too long. astsharp is the name of the original program, so apparently blank's converter can't process such large files.
(I don't think the Wii can either)

Yeah, so making it loop is your only option. :P

D: I hate looping... Very well.
EDIT: Um, you said the converter can make .MP3s louder but I don't know how to do it. (Also, you should make a readme so you don't have to answer everyone's questions.)

Open up the program.
Click on "MP3 Gain"

The rest is common sense. Load the file, and adjust the loudness of the MP3 on how louder you want it to be.

I actually tried that, and made the value go up to 3, but it sounded the exact same on the player. I guess it's only louder in-game then...

It's experimental. It's not my program actually, I just wrote a GUI. IF you really want to be sure, use Audacity or Adobe Audition to make your file louder, then load it in astConverter.
(Have you tried using astConverter 1.0 and see if that works? Maybe 2.0 just broke it.)

blah. You really need to test out your shit before you release it.

Also, asdf. Yeah. Just use Audacity to make it louder and then convert it.

I tested my shit. It's just hard to tell. It's not the first time something works for me and not for others. blah.

Well get some people to test everything on your program before a prerelease.

Anyways, btt. (I'm at fault. lol)

Dude, even though this thread is kinda old, I want to express my endless gratitude to the fact you did this tool cause it supports Mario Kart Double Dash and Zelda Twilight Princess as well.
I made a video tutorial for your tool because some people seem to have problems with it, (well, is it could automatically detect looping sections I'd hug you) but seriously. making a music hack with this tool takes 3 minutes! :D
Mad props to you, Anthe.
