The release all SMG hackers have been awaiting, finally arrived!

This release fixes a number of issues with the previous release. It also makes the 3D interface easier to use. But, most important of all, it adds support for editing starting points, gravity controllers and paths, allowing for more in-depth level editing.

Check it out in the Whitehole releases thread. Or go straight to the downloads page if you're lazy.

I found that this version is slightly unstable, especially when adding and moving paths. The viewer wouldn't let me drag a path, and when I tried using coordinates to move it, I got this error message.

This causes Whitehole to freeze entirely, I had to use Task Manager to close it at all.
Status: It was really, really fun, guys - thanks for the ride!

That's weird, because it works just fine here...

Testing has revealed that the Delete function is unstable. A bugfix release will be made very soon to address this issue.

Uh oh.

Remember that crash that happened whenever we did edits in Whitehole?
Well,

It's back.

Could you be more precise? What crash?

The one that took so long to fix, where whitehole was unusable.

Derp works fine for me....
I tested RHP in that version.
And it worked.

It's something that you did.

Myeah... be sure to be testing right before assuming that goddamn freeze is back :P

I haven't touched the file saving code after the freeze was fixed, so I don't see how it could have come back, but uh you never know.

Because you is awesome. :D

Jk. IDK, really. It seems to be a mixed bag. If it'll help, I'm running it on Windows 8. I'm going to redownload it and try again.

EDIT: I found what the problem is. Try deselecting a path. That for me causes a freeze.

What do you mean by "Deselecting a path"
A newly made path, or any path?

Windows 8 fucks up with Whitehole in a couple of ways.

Install Windows 7, Windows 8 is an utter failure.

Just any path. And I can't just spontaneously summon Windows 7…
