YAY The official LM:DM Site is now up!: http://luigismansion.nintendo.com/
It reveals the opening and it's pretty interesting. Also, have you noticed that Luigi's "House" in the opening is the Rank D Mansion from the original, and that the map he used in LM1 is on the wall? Gotta love Nintendo for those small references!
Also while nothing can be confirmed now, I'm REALLY worried about Nintendo making one big mistake with the game: REMOVING KING BOO'S DIALOGUE. While it's the opening so It doesn't need dialgoue, for the love of God Nintendo DON'T do with King Boo what you did to Bowser in Paper Mario: Sticker Star! King Boo is easily my favourite Mario Villain EVER just because of how delightfully evil and scary he was in the original LM. I REALLY liked his dialogue in LM1 (He made a STAR WARS reference.) and he can talk in some other games too (like Mario Party 8, Super Mario 64 DS and Mario Super Sluggers), so there's no need for you them to make him silent. I mean, they reverted his looks back to his evil/scary ones (now even cooler), so they have to bring back the old personality too. I found out the names of sone of the ghosts (with the exception of the Polterpup, the white dog): the green ghosts are Greenies, the red ghosts are Slammers, the blue ghosts are Hiders, the fat yellow ghosts are Gobbers, snd the big-brained librarian ghost mini-boss is Poltergeist.
Also, I am excited about NWP's LMWiiU! According to him, the LMU project will rewake from being dormant once SMG2.5 is completed. Guess I'd better help out with SMG2.5 again.
