This thread is for both Luigi's Mansion games. Let's summarize the two:

LM1: Luigi believes he has a win a mansion but it is a trick done by ghosts

LM2DM: Proffesor E. Gadd amd friendly ghosts work together in Evershade Valley. When the Dark Moon shatters, the ghists become evil. It is now up to Luigi to put the Dark Moon back together. Release in North America on March 24, 2013. It also features local and online multiplayer, and Download Play.

The first Luigi's Mansion has seven unused themes: Early Main Theme, Early E. Gadd theme, unused drumbeat, unused space theme (unysed total scote loop) unused SMB fanfare, unused total score, and Totaka's song on the piano by Melody Pianissima.

The Game Over screen in the E3 2001 demo is the exact same Game Over in the final version. Strangely, the E3 2001 trailer showed an early Game Over screen with "PWNed Luigi", who also appears blowing a flower's petals in the unused "Bad Rank" picture.

There is slso the hanged Luigi shadow glitch. Some people say the camera and the lightning made it an illusion, some say it is Mario and FLUDD being hung for dirtying Isle Delfino, and others say it was of a vacuum poster (like the Chuck Norris one in the same telephone room where the glitchy shadow appears) from the ghosts telling Luigi to get out or he will be hung. Not surprising as there was a hunter ghost who wanted Luigi's head.

If Boohemoths from New Super Mario Bros. 2 will appear in LM2: DM, then they should be called "Boohemians". I dunno, I think King Boo is of Czech and Romanian descent. He just... reminds me of both the real Vlad Dracula and the fictional Vlad Dracula.

There is no King Boo battle revealed to the press or even the public yet. MM720, did you fight the giant spider boss? If you did, Nintendo probably does not want you to tell us how to to defeat it until the game releases. I know one way, but I won't be explicitly revealing what it is so Nintendo does not get really pissed off (*hint* *hint* It is also one of the ways you must burn the cobwebs and kill the regular spiders. On the E2012 trailer, you might have seen it appear rolling when the spider boss jumped at Luigi.

In the beta elements page of the furst Luigi's Mansion, a troll ssid Luigi said the f-bomb but it was changed to "flip" in the final version. Luigi never said the f-bomb nor "flip" in any version. In final Japanese version and early international versions, Luigi says "Woah/No!". He currenlty says it in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. It would be quite strange for Nintendo to remove Luigi's original "get hurt" noise in LM:DM because Nintendo would have "wasted" a planned feature for the final version two games in a row.
