We have finally fixed the issue Whitehole had with saving, so that edited SMG1/2 levels work on a Wii again. If you're wondering, Whitehole v1.01 and earlier aren't affected by this issue, it was all caused by the additions to the in-the-works v1.1.

This means we'll be able to finish implementing the features we wanted in Whitehole v1.1. What remains to be coded is support for adding and removing paths and path points. There will also be the usual polishing and betatesting phase before the actual release.

During this time, Fiachra has been doing amazing job on SM64DSe. New features are: finally fixed model importing, model exporting, minimap editing, texture animation editing, and lots more! We'll be polishing SM64DSe for a release soon enough.

Once SM64DSe is released, it'll adopt the same development scheme as Whitehole. That is, we'll move it to a Github repo, and port it to Java for better Linux/Mac compatibility (and better speed too).

Long story short, everything is going nicely and you should expect a grouped release soon enough ;)

What is SM64DSe? a more polished version of the original?

It's an editor for SM64DS (SM64DS Editor -> SM64DSe).

It also hasn't seen a release in over two years.

Mega-Mario, you should include the picture I posted as a sample photo of what can be done.

I'm going to break the three-hour silence with this: We're finally starting to get working with level creation and such. I really like how we are getting several good music pieces done in a week and how we are focusing on level designs.

Blarg, change the topic.

Arisotura: How's WiiExplorer? I haven't heard anything about it for a bit.

I don't think there is, actually.

WiiExplorer will get a bugfix release soon enough. I'll work on the ISO code later. But I'd rather work on something that removes the requirement for ISOs, actually.

Yeah, all that ISO drama of mine is finally over, I figured out I didn't enable ISO ripping with USBLoaderGX. :P

Silly me. :S
