Hmm, that's a thought.
Perhaps the trainer leveling up is "prestige/popularity".

I'm most intrigued by that Munchlax puzzle thing. Will 2 trainers' journey be controlled...or a time machine...?
You know, it would be amazing to have a pokemon game be multiplayer.

Trainers now have their own leveling system that affects how in-game NPCs react to you and grants various bonuses such as increasing capture rate and the rarity of Pokémon encountered

and ways to see capture rates and such so I can be lazy and not have to look it up? I'm sold. I never bought black or white 2 but this is gonna be GREAT. I'm not even gonna get it from the eShop. Cartridge all the way.

Well it came from an official Japanese Magazine and it was NOT published on April 1st, so I think it looks like it's legit.

Also giving Mewtwo another form sort of makes sense or else I don't see why they would make him a main character in the following movie. It has to be some kind of twist.

And remember that the movie IS named "Mewtwo's AWAKENING". Maybe the awakening part means that Mewtwo will "awaken" into his new form?

Looks pretty weird...not very clear on what's different though. I mean, Mewtwo is already the strongest (non-Arceus) legendary in the games. Don't really care though.

I don't the strength is different. It could just be different abilities. The new form looks wierd because of possibly different abilities. But that is what I'm guessing.
