I think before you hit it when it us intact, it will be red. Hit it once and it becomes blue. The second time obviously makes it black and defunct.

I am not sure if it is possible for Gobblegut's bulges to take three hits, but someone should look into that. Also, blue-red-black does sound better.

If Fiery Gobblegut will be used, we should use an awkwardly-shaped planet for the boss fight. I am thinking something like the exterior of Taratox's web-planet-thingy.

That changing colors thing would be rather weird, and it can't fit in, as Megahammer mk.II is supposed to be a lava-ish red.

Anyway, IMO this level should be a heavily fortificated castle. With loads and loads of Bowser enemies.

Aaanyway if we're gonna have any minibosses here I suggest Giga Lakitu (as he could be the commander of Bowser's Air Forces, he needs Yoshi to be defeated and no other design currently uses him :3)

Also remember if we really need to we can make a improvised "custom" miniboss (a giant Hammer Bro?) ;)

Hmmm. I never thought of that...
As Bowser's whole army is here, there could be 2-3 minibosses to build the level up. Need to be very different though, representing one kind of Bowser enemy type.
