I always use the Wiimote sideways. It's not bad at all, honestly. D-Pads are better for platformers, anyways.  |

Funny, I use and prefer the nunchuk too. What a rude awakening when I tried playing New Super Mario Bros. U and was forced to use the Wii Remote on its side. :'(
