I don't know why you chose Ricco Harbor because we can't have mario climbing on the grates that the level is based on... But we should redesign the level, make it really new.


What about applying Bee Mario's behavior to the honeycombs to the Regular Mario and the grating?

What would difficult is applying just the grabbing physics with no flying. I think it is possible for Mario to be invincible without color change, speed increase, and airborne rolling. If we can do that, we should have Mario climb grating.

That's actually a good idea. I've always thought that grate climbing was a feature that should have been in SMG/SMG2, so I'd love to see us try to bring that back. Maybe talk to Phantomwings?

Not really, it's just transparent, which screws up in the importer. It is easy enough for me to fix.

Since Super Mario 3D Land seems to run on the SMG engine, should we bring back tightrope-tiptoeing when SM3DL hacking becomes possiblw? I know the original Ricco Harbor did not have tightropes, but other levels like Bianco Hills. I think tightropes would be a nice addition to Ricco Harbor to make transversing transversing the scaffolding easier.

That could work. I was just saying normal tightropes would feel out of place. Electricity on them and maybe re-color them red might be a fine idea.

I don't really think we should add any "electric wires/lines" in Ricco Harbor. Yes I know we're supposed to edit the level layouts a tiby bit but nothing like that was in tje original level so it feels sort of out of place (Save electrical wires for Digital Circuit or Sunken Satellite).
