Hey there. I made a thread for this hack on RHCafe, but I just learned that the board ain't coming back, so here's the new thread. Unless I'm able to get my old thread somehow, this is what it'll look like.



This hack is a repaint of Super Paper Mario. What's a repaint, you say? Well, when you "repaint" a game, you fill it with jokes and memes. I'm going for a different approach. While maps and other minor things will be just memes, stuff like characters, story, dialogue, music and perhaps even cutscenes will have effort and thought put into them. I'm aiming to have a different story (As much as I'm able to do it), new characters, actual remixes and funny dialogue (Funny as in well thought out humour).

Hey, just wanted to update you guys.
Lately, I haven't been making that much progress. The reason is a combination of a few things, but mostly a lack of motivation. The current stage of the hack (Replacing map textures) is extremely frustrating and boring. The only thing I'm doing is copy-pasting memes over and over and over and over and over and over.....you probably get the point. BUT. Despite this, I am committed to finishing this hack.
Fortunately, this is the only stage of the hack that will be boring. Dialogue and music will be much more fun.

Thanks for the kind words. Despite the odds, I'll work as hard as I can on this hack.

Update Time!
I have good news and bad news.
The good new is that school is finally over, so I'll have much more time to work on the hack!
The bad news is that there's something wrong with my computer, and whenever I try to boot it normally, all I get is a black screen, with only the cursor. No buttons work. The best I can do is boot it in safe mode. So until I can fix my computer (Which should be soon, hopefully), little progress will be made. Registrations are also on halt.

Time for a small update!
I just got my PC working again! But not completely, though. It's in safe mode, but I can still use it as if it weren't. I can live with that.
Now that my PC works, registrations are open again!

Hi! I'm posting this to say that I've resumed work on this hack (I went on vacation)! Up next on the list is the Pit of 100 Trials! Oh boy.

Second, I'm having some trouble coming up with ideas for certain characters, those being...

If you guys have any ideas of who I could retexture these characters into, feel free to post it, and I'll consider it!
