Except wouldn't that only be the Spiny Shell? It is not guaranteed to unroll into a right way-up Spiny as far as I know.

Yes but it would be very difficult. I recommend just using a tall railing and have the fire ecsape be not too narrow. That should work in preventing the Spiny Shells from bouncing off the tower.

Erm...no editing bosses, except the arena. Hardcoded, basically impossible.
But we can use bosses creatively...like here. :3
I was thinking for Mario to have to be in a section with a more gradual slope in a spiral, with a spinswitch at the top of the spiral staircase where a gap is, so he has to go all the way back down avoiding the Spinines already there.

Hmmm...wait...it seems this thing doesn't have any technical problems. In fact, it'll be exactly the same, with the intro and all that, except he's invincible. He doesn't use that lightning charge before the first hit either.
Those Spinines will be a good enough threat with all those gaps and spikes in a narrow staircase.

Yes, because everybody knows that spiked eggs can home in on you, make weird mechanical sounds, and blow up if they miss.

Ok let's end this debate here. There is no point in replacing bullet bills when GL throwing normal spinies will work fine.

Goombeetles that appear all of a sudden in a circle around you when go to the middle of a floor


I'm surpised no one replied to this :P. I do think we should use more types of traps for the floors, possibly even more than one for each floor.

This is my design of the outside of Bowser Jr's Tembling Tower.

There are 7 towers.
1 of them is the maintower, the maintower is the place were the fight against Boomsday takes place.
5 of the 7 are normal towers, And a 1 of the 7 is the begin tower.
The normal towers and the begin tower look the same.
The towers must be very tall this will give a very cool effect if you look down.
The underside of the tower is coated by black/grey clouds.
Between the normal/begin towers and the main towers there are chains to make a whole of it ( and it looks cool ;))
You start at the begin tower.
There is a mini starlaunchers on the normal towers and on the begin tower.
So you can travell from tower too tower
My idea is to have in each normal tower a piece of a launchstar.
This launch star will fly you too the main tower.
You can get this piece by defeating a mini-boss or by solving a puzzle.

Here is a more detailed drawing of the tower and some other stuff.

1) This is a drawing of a normal/begin tower they are very very much taller actually.
2) This is the platform where the battle takes place
There are 4 smaller towers on the big tower and you have to grap spring mario and walljump between them,
if you did that there are floating stones and pieces of ruine you jump on that and that's the way you defeat boomsday.
there are puddles to make it harder (if you fall in with spring mario you will lose you're powerup)
3) this is a random cannon I can put it on the main tower.

I will make later a design for the main tower.
Please give crittics and comment.
This could be a design.

The art could have been in color but it is still seeable. Overall, your concepts sound nice! Spirinf Mario is a good challenge for this galaxy, especially with the puddles. Something I said earlier in this thread is that each tower could have its own seperate theme.

gc could possibly use a water section with Torpedo Teds in Bullet Base. Some of the project's galaxies have a mechanized industrial theme.

Some possible themes include:
Spikes
Rocks
Laboratory?
Pipes
The main trembling tower

Dry Bones, Hammer Bros., Boomerang Bros., and Lil' Cinders should be used in the laboratory-themed tower. Maybe even have some mines on a spiraling staircase.

The only problem is that they are non-functional in SMG2. Like how BossCrab in SMG1 is pretty much non-functional. It will still appear in the level, but the animations would not happen. We could use Bob-ombs in this galaxy instead
