Erm, let's just go with regularly shaped ridiculously tall towers chained to each other, shall we? :P
And will Giga Lakitu be used here? Just checking to make sure.

There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Of course, it's usually an oncoming express train.

Slow and steady gets you trampled by the other guys.

S shaped tower? Err...No?

And I don't see how the chains are random. They make it seem more menacing.

It could be a miniboss halfway on the climb up the towers, but IDK.

Yeah, I suggested having Giga Lakitu throw Spinies at you as an invincible hazard (No Yoshi).
Depends on the people making this galaxy and whether GL is going to be used elsewhere though.

Ok, Giga Latiku would be way to easy as a World 3 Bowser Jr. Boss. As a midboss/miniboss, sure that would be cool. But as the actual boss, no way man. IMO, the boss should be either Boomsday Machine (because it's well like a Tower) or one of the Gobbleguts.

I did intend for it to be a midboss of sorts, which you don't actually fight.
Giga Lakitu would be stuck on the first phase (no lightning, I think, so no glitching through the tower), and be an unbeatable "midboss" throwing Spinies at Mario, who must climb up spiral stairs on the outside (with railings) to reach a switch then back down again, or something like that.
Maybe.
The boss is Boomsday, I think...

except that whole spiral thing is silly and impractical. Like I said, it would be a miniboss on the top and we already decided the boomsday machine was the boss...

Erm, what? Miniboss on the top? What do you mean? Like, on the top of a side tower?
And a random Yoshi appearance would be...kinda weird.
Boomsday...are we using the "platforming up to the top" way to hit the boss, or just a Cloud Flower?

Exactly what we've been saying for awhile, you're platforming to scale on top of the towers, and one idea that has yet to be fleshed out is themed towers, which I already have ideas for one and might help with that, so a yoshi or tropical something tower could easily fit in. It's a matter of what.

Same with the platforming, we have to figure out platforming in what way.

The Boomsday Battle still has yet to be thought out as well so there aren't that many details yet. In the samw way you fought boomsday on an "elevated" platform, and giga lakitu, you will do the same here, fighting them on top of one of the towers

My idea for this galaxy was really just Mario having to escalate a massive castle-like tower, in similar fashion to Buoy Base . The tower would be, of course, larger, and the slimmer areas (for, for exemple, getting to the other side of the tower) would be in a 2D perspective.
The design should be just like the normal Bowser Jr template: old, yellowish bricks with Bright green elements (refer to Boom Bunker boss if necessary )

Enemies...Let's just be simple. It's a trembling tower, right? So, let's have bullet bills, bomb-ombs, fireballs/any fire enemy and those freaking massive Bullet Bills at the midway point.

Now, the actual boss level. While this boss was cloud-oriented, I want to change that and have it so you have to fight him WITHOUT a powerup, by having to climb crane-like objects to get to the right height to be able to long-jump and attack. To climb the cranes, there could be a combination of floating plateforms, vines retextured as chains and wall-jump sections.

As previously stated, the fan attack that gets rid of clouds is a bit pointless. So, instead, might it be able to trigger fog to descend (for a brief amount of time) when this attack is made? This would make it harder later on, as well as him moving around.

My idea was to use Bee Mario instead of Cloud Mario when fighting Boomsday. During the battle, there are clouds/platforms/walls or the honeycomb walls (whatever we decide) to make it easier to get to Boomsday since this W3, so we should tad down the difficulty a bit. The only hard part is that it is raining during the battle. So, Mario will have to stay under something to prevent the rain from touching him or something like that. We could also implement that with Cloud Mario too, since contact with water also takes away the power.

If we use Bee Mario, pillars that sink and rise could have hobeycomb walls in them. Add that with the Boomsday Machine's hazards and there is a fierce battle.

For the rain, the pillars could have spinning ledges at the top that Bee Mario must use to shield himself.

I like the idea of using bee mario in the boomsday fight here, but what if we used spring mario to go to the top? It would be at a good difficulty rate in my opinion for the final boss of world three. The rain will also still be a hazard since spring mario also deactivates when touching water

What rain? That was only in SMG1 and we can't use it. The rain in space storm doesn't do shit to powerups.
On top of that, Spring Mushroom would be terrible, way too diificult for world 3, especially on a boss where you have to dodge stuff

Definitely not. Just place a few airships and random crap around the arena as platforms (adds extra challenge since it's a more circuitous route).
Anyway, about Giga Lakitu, I'm still not sure if Yoshi should be here :/

Okay, I understand you think spring mario would be too difficult.
There were some kind op waterdrops which were falling in honeybloom somewhere. Maybe someone could look if we can put that above the arena then, so we have a sort of rain hazard then.

But couldn't you put that so far above, so you can't see it?

Water buubles would not be gazard then if they are places high above. I am sure the Boomsday Machine's hazards plus other hazards that may used will be enough for Bee Mario to avoid.
