Well that should be an interesting twist. I wonder if the starball is actually affected by wind and such. I don't recall anyone checking.

Sounds awesome, cosmo. I'm sure your ideas will be pretty creative.

@NWP- I actually don't think it is..

If not then it can still be a nice effect for the visuals.

As most of you know, I'm designing this level. Let me give you a brief overview of what i'm planning on doing.

So star 1 is going to go on the 9 holes idea. I'll be mixing in concepts from both miniature gold as well as regular golf (of course with changes to make them more galaxy like). Some plans I have are windmills, holes based off of wii sports and wii sports resort courses. I've already designed 3 of the holes on paper (but a freak thunderstorm destroyed it because it was on my windowsill). I will also be modeling the design that I make..

For the windmill part, I think you should make it an asteroid belt-like windfarm. That would be an interseting approach and keep it different from Bianco Hills.

What the-
Asteroid belt windfarm. Erm. What?

Anyway, a minefield full of pits equipped with Bob-omb spawners would be amusing.

What I meant was having a green grass lanscape with windmills on floating asteroids (that only have one way gravity). Another option instead would be the minefield like you suggested above, gc. The Bob-omb pits would go nicely with a something like a test golf course.

Minefields in world 3? lolno. The winds aren't even a part of the actual gameplay, they're just there for atmosphere

There were Bob-ombs in Rolling Masterpiece though. They should probably still be used but not in a minefield.

Well I doubt we'll even have many ditches in the first place, all it is is getting you stuck and having to waste time getting out.

Wait, a ditch? Oops. I think I should say that there would just be Bob-omb generator pads on a hole course. You know, like a replacement for a wall.

Well, perhaps there could be a hilly course, with (slightly) downhill ditches leading the starball off the side. :P
To be honest, if it's a wide course, Bob-ombs just bang the starball around.
Perhaps water hazards? Does that even work? (I mean, does the Starball protect from air supply too?)

Well that's what someone needs to test
