The end if the level where the hole marker flag is could have a small tunnel where you smash the Starball. Then, you have wall-jump out of the small tunnel and climb the hole flag to get the Power Star.

maybe there could be star balls with different objects in them? maybe in a bonus area, there could be a comet medal star balls? i just came up with that, it's really not the best idea...

A Comet Medal Star Ball actually sounds kinda neat, but I don't think it should be in a bonus area. Just make it be in like the fifth starball or something.

It should be in a bonus area because Comet Medals are bonuses anyways. But both the Coin Starball and Comet Medal Starball should lead you to the same destination.

The Power Star Starball is in the final area. All the others have Comet Medal, Coins, Starbits, 1-Ups, etc.

Hmm, is that possible? I wonder if you could stick Toads in there...random thought. Heheheh.
I don't really think there should be too many Starballs.
And Polari, there could be Starball breakers somewhere.

Umm. A bonus area? ...maybe not. Probably just a little secret crack/passage near the bottom of one of the holes.

...Are we sure this is all possible...? I mean, Wouldn't having a Comet Medal or STARBITS in a starball look weird? It's not like we can make the starbits in it actually follow the laws of physics in the starball...

OK, here is my coconut idea. If the Starball can bounce coconuts around, then there could be a section where you have to push cocnuts into something to unlock the Starball launcher. IF POSSIBLE.

Tbh, I only think 9 holes are necessary. 18 would just get repetitive and boring. We should stick to 9 larger, more uniquely themed ones. I think star 2 should be a comet or secret star.

Star 2 could a secret a star where you go to another area on the 5th or 6th hole. The area could be a giant grass golf course, but then, it is slowly falling apart and you must move to the end where there is no more crumbling. The current Star in the Starball moves back to where it would be at the 9th or 18th hole. But, a new star also appears and it is in the secret area.

That's what is done with Comet Medals. In fact, the Comet Medal could be part of the Secret Star mission.

mc has a point.
Perhaps there could be a hidden hole near the beginning, dropping down to a series of ledges under the course, with telekinetic blocks thin ledges, and a few Bob-ombs. >:D

Here is my idea for that:

Hidden near the first hole is another hole that takes beneath the golf course. There are narrow ledges replacing themselves (back goes to the front, then the middle one goes front, etc.) You must cross the thin ledges slowlyband carefully. After that part comes a sidewalk-like pathway with Bob-ombs. Aftet you make it through, you can getcthe secret Star.

As most of you know, I'm designing this level. Let me give you a brief overview of what i'm planning on doing.

So star 1 is going to go on the 9 holes idea. I'll be mixing in concepts from both miniature gold as well as regular golf (of course with changes to make them more galaxy like). Some plans I have are windmills, holes based off of wii sports and wii sports resort courses. I've already designed 3 of the holes on paper (but a freak thunderstorm destroyed it because it was on my windowsill). I will also be modeling the design that I make..
