That makes no sense, I have no idea what nwp is talking about with the camera. Making Mario make a different sound under certain conditions would require adding new sound effects and changing Mario's behavior, which as far as I know is not possible or at least not practical.

To make him seem huge. Doesn't have to be difficult, you all are trying to edit sound effects which we may never be able to edit, when we can just use my route.

Yes, let's go through the trouble of remodeling Mario and remaking the fuckton of animations he has.

There's a simpler route. Much simpler, in fact. From what I get, this level is going to work like SM64's Tiny-Huge Island.

Then we can do it just like Nintendo did it in SM64. Have two versions of the level, one big and one small.


As for altering Mario's voice, I guess it'd be possible to raise/lower his voice pitch with a little ASM hack. Not that it'd be particularly needed though.

The most common enemies have huge variations in use in Supermassive Galaxy.

Trust me, changing Mario's size would be much, much more difficult. Unless there's a variable somewhere that controls his size, but I don't think so. Or it'd affect the model scaling but not the collision.

Hmm...can pipes, cannons and Launch Stars be shrunk?
If so, can Mario still use them if shrunk dramatically?

Some of them, because of the way their collision works in the first plsce. The thing I'm wondering is why have different ways of collision in the first place, seems like a stupid move on Nintendo's part.
