Well here's what I have for the slope. It functions like a slide (similar to tall trunk) and is very steep at first. At the bottom of the mountain it levels out and goes through a forest

Please, SMG2.5 should have SEVERAL slides! They are the most fun part of the game :)

Well, all we know is there should be an ice slide, but wasn't there one in Freeze Flake?

Yes, though I think you only went in it in mission 2

Plus, it was soooo short.

Instead of a slide, can't it be a giant path that you have to skate on? Skating > Sliding

I was thinking just a regular slide like in tall trunk to resemble skiing.

I'm actually for a combination of MC and Polari's ideas. What if we made a SLIDE which you have to SKATE on? Dunno how we would make that though.

Maybe just make a giant path, but make it look like a slide. Also maybe have the path eventually disappears so you HAVE to skate to move forward (and therefore not be allowed to stop) :)

Well we were thinking skating slide for flarefrost.I'm pretty set on my idea tbh
I have an image in mind

Sliding in FF would make more sense...

Sliding? Do you mean skating? I'm confused

Both sound fun :D I personally am in more favor of a skating slide here. We could save a REAL slide for something like Solar Coaster Galaxy.

I like the idea of a dash yoshicoaster for solar coaster
Again, I have my mind set on a regular slide

The only problem with skating down a slide is the angle with the gravity. normally you'd just slide down it.

NWP, it will work fine, I assure that. But maybe we'd have to derp around with gravity a bit.

Well yes, I realize that, I'm simply stating that IDK how exactly slides work, whether it be slope detection or collision. I know it's not collision but you get the point.

Couldn't we use the brief slide in freezeflake as a starting basis?

Not really, this shouldn't use anything form the original besides possibly the snow effect or trees or whatever. Either way, we will have to make it work with a brand new modeled slide in the long run so we may as well skip right to it.

I meant basis for gravity and collision:p The slide should pass through an ice cave near the end. Would that be tough to design? Falling icicles would complete the package.

It depends on what MC has in mind. I'm basically backing away and letting him go at it while I supervise.
