I know that C/C++ are good languages for hacking Nintendo games but are those the two ONLY languages that you can use? For example what if I wanted to use C# instead?

you can use python for RPC/Server side scripts, but C# is a no for now.

When you're comfortable with C/C++/Python/whatever, and have knowledge of your system, you can also learn the respective ASM (ASseMbly) language for your console. I.e. DS/GBA/Wii U: ARM, Wii U/Wii: PPC/Power PC (I don't know what the best tutorial for this is.).

Edit:

wrong, WiiU uses ARM too

Only if you (somehow) get a hold of Unity for Wii U, you can use C#.
Otherwise, no.

Oh shit, I wanna look at Wii U roms now since I know a lot of ARM. Is there some sort of Wii U rom debugging emulator?

You can reverse engineer Wii U executables with the IDA Pro demos/freeware, but you might have to obtain a copy of the full version.

Then, you'll grab this plugin which will allow you to open RPXs and RPLs from Wii U game dumps in IDA.

This doesn't allow you to edit roms or emulate them, but you can look at the code for it.
