Once it gets out of hand and corporates start to overpower and pressure decisions on government ends through unscrupulous deals, yeah.

I still feel like some sort of 'polling' on government decisions from the public would be a good idea, but I'm not entirely sure how it would go about being done or how it would influence those in actual power, etc. - but it could work possibly a bit like how you intended your 'Community Matters' forum to a slight extent here.

If there's significant backlash for anything in that way, it would actually get voiced and would be completely impossible to ignore it without some kind of addressing in any case on the higher-ups' side, ultimately.
