Also, I've been considering something: So many people have their concerns regarding Windows 10, just because of the privacy settings being turned on by default.
Mind if I tell you, that all Windows Versions had backdoors since the very beginning? Back in the 90's, American Software Developers were required to at least implement a backdoor for the NSA, and over time, more backdoors were created, either by their own Developers, or by other departments of the US Governments, or by Third Parties. And yet, nobody seems to care about this fact. At least, that's what I've read on some Tech News Website. So what "Windows 10 ends your privacy"? Your privacy has already ended, since the Internet became a thing! |

It turns out the Windows 10 really does uninstall things behind your back. It didn't even tell me that it did! I installed the bulit in games from Windows 7 a while back and, I just recently found out that it removed them automatically! I reinstalled them by the way. Seriously what the fuck? What dumb ass at Microsoft though that adding that was even a good idea at all!? Bottom line if I install something leave it alone, if I install something I think it should be obvious I want to keep it installed! I don't need some dumb fuck telling me what programs are "incompatible". Incompatible? How the fuck is it incompatible!? It works just fine! ____________________ MKDS Hacking & Modding Discord: https://discordapp.com/invite/CAktUYP |

another rumor says they would phase out regular Windows programs (those with windows and all) in favor of the Metro crap
to quote myself from another place:

Metro Apps on Windows 8 and 8.1 are indeed Full Screen-only, but in Windows 10, they're like any other Windows Apps (with a sole exception to Windows 10 Mobile, obviously).
But I don't think that rumour will come true, seeing how Microsoft is thinking to bring regular Windows Apps to Windows 10 Mobile. |

Posted by StapleButter I agree, especially with the last three points. As far as I know, you can't even set colors for the windows. The default color is white, which makes the windows look ugly, and somewhat like paper. Besides, the animation for maximizing / minimizing the windows is terrible on Windows 10. The only good thing with Windows 10 is the start menu. The good thing is that my computer can't even update to Windows 10 for some reason ![]() |

My Lumia 930 and Surface Pro 3 both run Windows 10, the first being the Mobile Edition, and the latter being the Pro Edition.
Even though the "Universal Apps" thing makes the differences almost non-existence, there are still many differences. As far as the problems are concerned: I just installed the latest build from the Fast Ring, and now, each time I go to Settings > TIME & LANGUAGE > Region & language > [LANGUAGE_HERE] > Options, the Settings App crashes. And the fun part is, Microsoft didn't even mention it in the "Known Issues" message in the Insider Hub! |

They don't have to. You install software from the Fast Ring, of which you know it can contain bugs. Then, you complain about bugs. Stability wise, the Slow Ring is stable enough if you really want the new features. At least, that is my experience. ____________________ ![]() |

Posted by Anthe I wasn't complaining about Bugs, it's just something you can easily encounter, and still don't mention it anywhere. Of course, I already reported this Bug. |

Posted by StapleButter I know, but we're working on that. If you mean the out-of-place shiny explorer buttons and such, we've already figured out how to skin those back to the 9x look. Case and pineapple: ![]() |

The thing about Windows 10 that bothers me is it continuously trying to get you to use a Microsoft account with it.
Like, every so often when opening up a folder, sometimes a random "Welcome to OneDrive" window pops up with a sign-in form. I tried the OneDrive sync thing once, but really it did nothing but cause all of my files to get mixed up and sometimes lost when in it. Got rid of it immediately, now back to the OneDrive spam windows. is Microsoft trying to actually add features or are they just finding things to mess with |

They want you to be completely under their control.
The OS goes out of its way to delete programs it doesn't like. I would have no problem with "program X isn't compatible" if it was only notifications, not the OS fucking taking a decision and acting for me. They try hard to get you to use their cloud and put all your files there, under their control. The OS is meant to be permanently connected so they can track you. Windows 10, OS of the future? Yes, a Big Brother future. A future where you become a mindless consumer controlled by the big companies. ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |
