So I havent updated the 3DS, and I need to do it now in order to play smash online.

When I update to the latest version, will ironhax be gone?

Also, does ironhax works on the latest firmware version?

I dont want to mess up, as I love having custom themes (or the ones that are japan only)

Last view: 2902 days ago 		Ayyyy lmao. It's perfectly safe to perform a system update, Ironfall will still be there, but you will have to download the latest ninjhax files to your SD card, and re-install ironhax.

And as to reply to gridatttack: ironhax and tubehax work on 10.1. If you have CN, you can use Ninjhax2 too.


I don't think the update would remove ironhax, but even if it does, you could just reinstall it and call it good.

Just update your 3DS system and boot.dol.

If it doesn't work, remove and reinstall IRONHAX.

I don't know how long I have been waiting for this. So CoinKiller could be programmed to simply work on the decrypted RomFS, which will ease many things. Great!

Also Ironfall has been re-released, however they patched something so that it can't work with Homebrew. Therefore, if you have Ironhax already, DO NOT REINSTALL.

Tubehax is also patched, as now you need to update YouTube, and the app won't launch until you do. This update was, of course, to patch Homebrew.

Now the only methods for execution are browserhax, homemenuhax, Ironhax if the reinstallation wasn't initiated, and Ninjhax.

Last view: 2289 days ago 		The youtube app connects to the internet on launch, therefore it's possible to block usage. Ironfall doesn't, therefore it would be near impossible if not impossible to require an update. If it wasn't, they would have done it already.

This video showcases the new *hax 2.5 payloads for various 3DS (including the New 3DS) hacking methods, which work up to the latest firmware version (10.2 at time of writing). The new payloads give you access to the same old homebrew you know and love, but in addition packs in some exciting new features, including :
- eShop access on old firmware versions
- rom hacking, which lets you run modded versions of games you own such as pokemon
- in-game screenshot taking simply by pressing the home button
- 3DS CPU overclocking in any game
- sleep mode and power button support
- a bunch of other cool stuff probably
