Also, note that they can't fix Cubic Ninja, or atleast not trivially. The studio that developed it was crapoed or something.
They'd need to make ASM-level patches. Probably why they didn't bother: they could just block the higher exploits required by ninjhax and call it good. Amazing, but I'll bet everyone who has a 3DS downloaded the YouTube app first thing anyways.

Youtube is crap, the code sucks, and the 3DS has really low resources compared to the machines that typically load Youtube videos.
Have you ever tried leaving youtube tabs open in your browser? That ends up ruining your browser one way or another. Would pulling the Youtube app even hurt them? Youtube's coding is so crappy that even powerful machines have trouble surviving it longer than a few minutes.
