they asked me if I wanted to upgrade, and I said I couldn't pay for one
so they decide if you aren't giving them money then just leave, so the whole 'it'll be there forever!' is a lie |

I've always hated free Hosting, I can understand children want to start off for free, but free Hosting:
1. Is slow, because Servers are getting filled quick. 2. Offers very little storage, to be able to provide some space to as many people as possible. 3. Often comes with Ads forced into your Site, because if you don't want to pay, they'll force Ads. 4. Has very limited Bandwidth, pretty much the same reason as Point 2. 5. Often has some idiots to make you pay anyway, like in this case. 6. Won't give you a Domain Name and no SSL Certificate, simply because these 2 cost money, and you can't avoid that (except for .tk Domains). |

HTML is becoming harder too! I mean, just to format text (bold, italics, etc.) takes 10x more code now:
<b> vs <span style="font-weight:bold;"> <i> vs <span style="font-style:italic;"> etc. Also, am I the only one who thinks jQuery code looks like abstract art? |

That's not entirely true, you're still allowed to use <b> or <strong>, if you wish. |

Posted by StapleButter Seriously? I've never heard of these Tags to be deprecated... Well, I looked it up on W3Schools, it doesn't say these Tags are deprecated per se, it just recommends you to use CSS instead: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_b.asp http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_strong.asp |

Probably because of organizational reasons. I don't know, putting everything under a span style umbrella sounds like it. You can figure out that font usage (changing color, bold, italics, underline, etc.), would fall under span style and you can group all of the parameters under one span style rather than use more tags.
<span style="font-weight:bold; color=#F00;font-family:derpshit">lol</span>
<b><font color="red">lol</font></b> |

dear social networks:
just because I happen to scroll over a video that there is no way to really avoid, doesn't mean I want to watch it right now. please stop autoplaying videos as soon as they become visible. thank you. love, the internet ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

Even if the videos are in mute?
Also, it's not just social networks. News sites do this, too. |
