Greasemonkey is pretty much the bane of shitty web design. For instance, I made a to top button for twitter in greasemonkey since it uses infinite scroll and and its a pain to scroll back up when you get new tweets. Its simple, but i've found myself using it quite a bit.


Doesn't the "Page Up" key accomplishes the same thing?
Though I dunno if all keyboards have such key.

you can use the scrollbar drag button thing to scroll back up quickly


don't consider using it to scroll down though, it works pretty badly when combined with infinite scrolling

I use µblock and I was cockblocked too.


Also, the webmaster is, as I felt, an egotistical dickhead. I would just not bother with that website at all. But hey, circumventing his shit is fun too.

Well im a derp, I never really used that key so I completely forgot about it.

Back to 3dsthemes, it really is shady/greedy, I get that you need to pay for server space and all that but don't 100% block your users that use adblock. Im even ok with those 'don't use adblock' banners as long as its not intrusive.

Yeah. If they ask nicely, I can do them a favor and disable adblock for them, but not if they're complete dickwads about it.

I don't think it does much though, ads only get you money when people click them, unless I'm mistaken. I don't click the ads, so uh.

As far as I'm aware, a whole bunch of new gTLD's were created, because TLD's like .com, .net, .org, .jp, .nl, etc. were over-registered.
Domain Names are generally cheap, so everyone wants to secure one, before it's registered by someone else.

Those blocking systems are barely even effective.
Reddit? Kisscartoon? Absolutely fine. Some google images are blocked for no reason, and YouTube videos are blocked by default AFAIK, which screws up a lot of class work that we do on computers/Chromebooks (I refuse to call those computers).

Since my school uses chromebooks getting past what they use to watch their students screens is easy. The thing they use is an extension for chrome, so it can only see the browser window not other extensions/apps; I just packaged the multi tabbed browser app from the chromium repo (when it was up) and use it whenever I use my chromebook.
