I've "fixed" 2 tools: BCK Creator, NuntiusNovus. I just did some simple hex editing.

At the BCK Creator I changed its name to "BCK Reader", both the EXE and in the program, because that was the only thing it could do.

At NuntiusNovus I changed

Why is the info in spoilers?

Also why are you saying you 'fixed' them when all you did was change a few strings?

BTW, WiiCoconutPlayer is a piece of shit. I don't remember when I gave it out, but it only plays one channel of the given file, the loopstart position is hardcoded because I didn't figure it out, and trying to play another stream while one is already playing has weird effects-- typically speeding up the playback speed, and not seldom crashing the program.

Don't go fucking around with my programs. They're not worth much, but redistributing them again on another host without me having control over them is not something I want. It's not like that one line of text matters much.

The infos is in spoilers to organize them better.

NuntiosNovus said "Anthe on the Super Mario Galaxy 2.5 forums", which is wrong, it's Kuribo64 now, so it was kinda "outdated", and I "upgraded" it.

No, it isn't a piece of shit. How would we else play AST files? And BTW, do you know a better AST Player? (this question was not connected to the previous sense)

Excuse me, but what do you actually mean? That I shouldn't edit your tools?

VGMStream is the best tool to play AST files and many other Wii audio files like BRSTM.

This means we aren't allowed to redistribute them.

You're like the people on the ABXD repo, changing strings to get their name slapped on shit.

sigh

Next time, try to actually edit CODE and not just strings nobody cares about.

How do you play AST files with VGMStream? By converting AST to WAV?

What aren't we allowed to redistribute?

It doesn't matter. Hex editing works too.

Yes, you convert them to wave files.

Gosh GalaxyHacker, aren't you getting it? This stuff is kinda useless.

No, it doesn't organize them better. It requires people to unnecessarily click buttons.

I don't know of a better AST player, but I'm sure there is one. WCP was never finished and barely does its job.

And what do people gain by having it renamed to 'AST Player', anyway?

I misunderstood the thing with code you said. I thought you meant that I would edit the program code instead of hex.

I wasn't trying to make a useless update to get my name slapped on it. And it is useless for us, but it was just an update so it can always be there for future users. It was just a little fix.

It was just to have an AST Player with the name "AST Player". I actually don't know why I did that. That was actually useless. Removed it.

I use vgstream with foobar2000 and that works just fine. I also don't want binaries of my stuff floating around, hosted elsewhere than where I have control over them.
EDIT: next time you edit my programs, please take note of the name. "Nuntions".. seriously? :')
The whole point of "Nuntius Novus" was that it meant "New Messenger" in Latin.

Oh oops it was a typo. Fixed it.

It's vgmstream, not vgstream. vgstream means "Video Game Stream" when it should be "Video Game Music Stream".

Yay, another pointless spoiler. Also, cool story bro.

Can we avoid 2px tall text? It's not witty nor funny, just annoying to read.
