I don't think you changed it at all in a way. Try and make it darker.

Maybe by 40% or something.

It's bright, but atleast it isn't as contrasting. It contrasts with your post text area which is dark, though.

Your signature started with <div> instead of </div> (to close the div that contains the post).

You also forgot to close the signature div. Wasn't a problem, but it's good habit.

It's… okay. I guess. Arisotura would have to be the judge here. I am leaning towards the “too much contrast” opinion.

Personally, MercuryPenny's post layout looks alright to me. Also, my Kafuka layout is now on Kuribo64 and Sunshine Realm with help from kaj.
