So here are all the changes this brings us:


* An overall simpler, more lightweight codebase. This is always welcome, especially if we get more of those Reddit waves.


* Goodbye display names. No more fucking name roulette and other abuse.

* Goodbye profile comments. Those were a quick way to send someone a message, but were often misused for posting useless bullshit.

* Goodbye post layout sidebars. I feel that more consistency in the board's interface is always good.


* Offline posting -- you don't even need to log in if you want to post on the go.

* No more quote pyramids -- when quoting someone, any quote tags are removed from the post.

* Easy multiquote -- if a reply form is available, the Quote links on posts insert the quote there rather than opening the new reply page.

* Spoilers limited to 7 per post -- no more retarded spoiler pyramids or misused spoilers. The limit could be tweaked if needed. Also, take into account that spoilers in your layout count towards the per-post limit.

* In the same fashion, youtube tags are limited to 3 per post.


* PM threads aka private conversations. All your previous PMs have been converted into conversations based on their titles-- let me know if anything went wrong.


* Item shop -- items will be added later on


* Partial birthdays -- if you don't want to give out your age, just leave the field blank, and you still get the rainbows!

When will themes/homepage/downloads page/uploader/wiki/objectdb be ported?

Later on. We're getting there. Just be patient.

(and no, this won't end up like the RVL depot)

I think the auto-<br> should be fixed. It's affecting the posts causing a line break between the end of the post text and the footer.

If there's something I really miss now, it's the Button that directly took me to unread Replies.
I mean, it's lacking in Acmlm Board and ABXD, but not in BlargBoard.

Because now I need to Scroll all the way down, and hope I didn't skip anything.

First in line is the uploader though, as it's really handy to have.



oh and bleh, it seems online.php doesn't show bots if there are no guests to show. Probably a silly copypaste issue.
