I may not be a member of the team but allow me to add my idea here, what kind of layout are you looking for? World 1 should always, as said above, have the simplest levels and layout in the game. Try to go for something that grabs the eye of the player? Engulf them in something they want more of, so that they will like the game and want to play it over and over again. |

Posted by Rydia Many SMG1 levels like Gateway and Good Egg have a space background with a star on the horizon. I think World 1's background should be similar to that, as mentioned earlier above. There should also be dirt clusters surrounding Bowser Jr.'s Burrow Base, for the dirt theme. I'm thinking of a dark blue basic background with stars and moving comets. I think a daytime BG is too non-spacey IMO. Let's keep it basic and get more complex as the worlds progress, with the possible exception of W7 ____________________

Bullet Base design- Final Frontier- (collab) There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Of course, it's usually an oncoming express train. Slow and steady gets you trampled by the other guys. |
