Okay, people is confused about BRK, BVA, BTP files etc. and don't know if they switch texture, if they change color etc.
So I am making this clear for you: Yes, that's it. BAS files' function is unknown ATM. |

BCK = Character Kinetic (IE MarioAnime)
BTK = Texture Kinetic (shifting and twisting coordinates for the texture to make it move) BRK = Resolution (?) Kinetic BTP = Texture Palette (changing how the texture looks via materials) BVA I don't have a name for but it hides certain batches in a model (like hungry lumas or the comet medals) to only show one at a given time https://kuribo64.net/?page=wiki&id=BVA_file ____________________ "I hate playing musical chats" ~ Quote of the month |

BAS are sound setting files in pikmin(most likely). I haven't tested it but I am almost sure about it that it has something to do with organizing sounds.
I got a (unfinished)documentation here https://sites.google.com/site/jesses064/bas |

Well it might be different in SMG. But yeah, it can have with sounds to do, but I think all the sound effects are stored in the AW files. |

I don't you think understand. "Sound setting file", of course its not stored in aw files. and there is 98% chance that its used for the same purpose. |
