yup. in ROM hacking, there are two main scenarios possible for a game:
1) lots of people care. It gets hacked as soon as the console is hackable. A big community forms itself etc.
2) noone cares. It stays mostly untouched for ages, beyond generic model-swap type hacks, maybe a few people messing with it, and noobs asking people to make an editor.

oh and at RHCafe too, although it also has some of the known good-for-nothing idiots who are still not banned


on a positive note, I managed to fix my Windows install. People on the internet were all "you're screwed you must reinstall". In the end, I renamed hiberfil.sys from Ubuntu and rebooted. It gave me the "Windows was not shut down properly" screen, then booted fine.

Ubuntu's pretty nice yeah; when I needed a Linux install for some assignment, it did the job really well

(assignment involved crap like fork() which Windows can't handle)
