<h3>How to set up an IRC client and use it to connect to Kuribo64's IRC channel:</h3>
(For this, I'll assume that you are using Windows.)<br />

<li>Download <strong>XChat-WDK</strong> from <a href="http://www.hexchat.org/home/downloads">here</a>. (If you don't know which one to pick, the first one will always work)</li>
<li>Install XChat-WDK and open it.</li>
<li>A window named network list should show up with some entries at the top. You fill in your user information in those entries.<br />
Here's an example of what it could look like for me:<br /><br />

The <strong>nick name</strong>, <strong>second choice</strong> and <strong>third choice</strong> fields here are for the nick name that will be visible to others when you say something.<br />
The <strong>user name</strong> field is <em>not</em> your user name, it's a small description of sorts. Fill in whatever you want.<br />
The <strong>real name</strong> field is for your real name, but you don't <em>have</em> to fill it in if you don't want people to know your real name.

Hit the <strong>Add</strong> button to add a new server.

<li>A new entry to the list left of the button should pop up. Enter the name "Digibase" there.</li>
<li>Once you've done that, click the <strong>Edit</strong> button.</li>
<li>At the top of the window, there'll be a list labeled <strong>"Servers for Digibase"</strong>. Select the first entry of that list and click <strong>Edit</strong>, now replace its text with <strong><code>irc.digibase.ca</code></strong>.</li>
<li>Check the <strong>Auto connect to this network at startup</strong> box. This'll cause it to automatically connect once you start XChat.</li>
<li>Enter <strong><code>#smghacking</code></strong> into the <strong>Favorite channels</strong> text box.</li>
<li>Click <strong>Close</strong></li>
</ol>

<li>Click <strong>Connect</strong></li>
<li>If all went well, you should now be chatting on <code>#smghacking</code>.</li>
