The main planet will have a huge tree like in tall trunk, that changes with seasons. There's no bee tho. However, that is for another thread. So, buzzing by is jungle so we should have lots of jungle green trees and such. Possibly some vines like in beach bowl if we can eventually import that.

Yes, I was thinking of loads of huge trees, with Bee Mushroom flight, bouncing and platforming to reach wooden platforms. Paragoombas, Choppahs and others in the air. If Mario gets hit and/or falls down, he'll have to find a way back up without the Bee Mushroom. With woodeb platforms serving as "checkpoints", with some having a Bee Mushroom and several platforms reachable from the ground.

I hope we're still incorporating an upside-down forest here :3

Are you a fucking idiot? This is the Bee Mushroom INTRODUCTION galaxy. It has to be used! The player has to learn how to use it here for later levels. WE ARE NOT GOING TO KEEP IT TO A MINIMAL JUST BECAUSE YOU SAY SO

In my boss concept, I had the idea to fight Bugaboom in a HUGE jungle-forest area. So instead of being on planet, you are in a deep jungle-like forest, and Bugaboom is swerving high above the trees. You have to find a Bee Mushroom (If you don't already have one), in order to reach his height. There will be some vines to swing on to help, but also some Choppas that must be advoided to pursue Bugaboom. If you get hit, you most likely won't die, but fall all the way to the ground. There will also be a small river that isn't deep, so if Bee Mario runs out of fly energy, he will fall to the ground and might lose the Bee power if he lands in water. This isn't supposed to make the battle harder, but longer.

Pretty much, an Indiana Jones-type boss fight? Due to the jungle's size, Bugaboom's bombs may be ineffective hazards.

That doesn't really matter, there will be NEW effective hazards. :3

What are a few examples of "NEW effective hazards"?

Choppas among the vines, and a river surrounding the bottom part (don't fall).

I just had an idea. Remember Honeyhop's design? Now just take a small part of the galaxy and imagine it moving to another piece that is a small area in the galaxy. I think moving fragments would be nice to use here and I do not recall any galaxy in SMG1/2 using the combination of motion and fragmentation.

Um. Could you explain "motion and fragmentation" more clearly?
Well anyway, ideally, if the boss should be like that, Bugaboom should be chasing Mario down a slope. That way, the bombs will roll forwards. Otherwise, the boss would be less threatening than the level.

I don't think that's possible to do....Unless he runs on paths.

Imagine a three small terraces moving to grass with a huge rock on it. The grass with a huge rock on it moves to grass with a small wall that you wall-jump on. Think of it like the moving beam machines and the metall turtle on the final planet on Dreadnought's first mission.

I'm not sure what you're saying...could you provide a picture? Even a quick ms paint drawing would help

We should use some level pieces (like I suggested above) that constantly rise and dip in water and only the top part of the fragment is above sea level. This should only be one small platforming section, though.

Also, there should be a gorge with a tube covered in plants, trees, and a small stream at the bottom. Wild Glide serves as great inspiration for this galaxy.

HRET your ideas sound interesting but they're a bit vague and hard to visualize without an illustration.
