Eh. Possibly what's really slowing down progress is that only a few official designs are close to being finished or approved. Maybe because of this uncertainty between who's designing what, and their status. (people reserving designs...)
I know they can't be rushed, but all designs are just incomplete, unconfirmed, or halfway done.
...I dunno, but it might help if a few more designs were finished and approved.

I recant everything I said in December. Now we are starting to make levels that are good-quality even if they are just tests. Our music is brilliant in most cases, and arguing over how fast it's progressing slows us down. Relaxland and stuff is fun, but now it's largely a spamfest where the main spam is people arguing over what's spam. Now that level creation is re-starting, it's like the calm before the storm. If we work hard as a team, we can finally move forward.

Yes. People arguing over spam IS the spam. Real spam is like 5% of the spam. I WILL BE WORKING HARD TODAY ON THE MUSIC. But we need our level designers to work hard as well.

T-that's a joke, right? Designs take serious time and dedication, plus, we only have like, 2 level designers at this point. Plus, you also need to hear the opinions of other people and see if they like it. If they don't like it, you have to edit it again and again until it's perfect. God.

I'm trying, but it's not like it's THAT easy to directly find some good level designers and creators who have experience with SMG2 hacking and SMG2 in general. Most people who join only do nothing. However when I find someone who I see might be very helpful to the project, of course I tell them about SMG2.5 and ask them to join (but like I said there aren't many people like that on the internet and the few ones there are rarely reply to such messages) :P

Kuribo64 doesn't really get many new active members often. Plus, the active level designers we do have are "reserving" quite a few levels each. It causes quite a bit of confusion over whether a level's being designed/reserved. Especially if the designer has been inactive/busy for a while (Astroluma...). It would be nice to have a thread listing the current designer of each level.

Yeah...hard to find new contributors. The old board had an advantage of being famous (it's the freaking 2nd choice in Google in a search for "Super Mario Galaxy"). There was a new member every few days. Now...focusing a project has its disadvantages...
Anyway, are any designs actually being worked on (by that I mean the actual design. Not reserving it), and are close to being finished?

Edit: Freaking ninja'd AGAIN? :P

People are going to say that nobody gives a shit about this post. In fact, there is a high possibility this post will be deleted, but I want to put this out there;

I will NOT be in a project that breaks the law like it's there for no reason. Imagine if someone started giving out SMG2.5 once it was done and making people pay for what we did. That's why copyright laws were introduced and they exist for that reason. Piracy isn't necessary and it's unlawful. For people that live in countries where it's legal like Dego does, I still wouldn't do it. It's like smoking; not illegal but still morally wrong. I love you guys, but if it comes down to preserving my spotless criminal record or staying with SMG2.5, it's pretty obvious what I would choose. I still hope I'll have friends after posting this. Someday I guess we'll realize what this was. I guess I'll put it down to age. If you want an ISO or some files, I have some legal methods to get them.

Maybe you think and act like it's OK. Well, it isn't, and I've got pages and pages of copyright laws to show for it. DON'T RESORT TO PIRACY IN ANY SITUATION. NOT HERE, NOT THERE, NOT ANYWHERE.
